SDSN Youth Philippines plans to continue the online training program for all Sangguniang Kabataan officials that will better equip them in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic Expand registration applications nationwide
The network plans to launch the Nutrisyon ni Nanay initiative that targets nutrition packs and SRH services to target communities, specifically young mothers.
In March, SDSN Youth Philippines launched the SJ Ako! The program, an online training program for all Sangguniang Kabataan officials that will better equip them in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the program, the officials are being educated about the issues and discourse about pandemics and disasters
Through the support of the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights and funding from OXFAM and the Canadian Government, SDSN Youth Philippines is conducting a market study and research to develop a SRHR-themed mobile application based on the study that will be conducted.
The network hosted a webinar in partnership with UNFPA Philippines on important data and statistics on ASRH in the Philippines and how COVID-19 has affected its landscape. Through the webinar, they were able to address the impacts of COVID-19 on ASRH in the Philippines and to share youth solutions to ASRH issues in light of the pandemic.
SDSN Youth Philippines plans to host more webinars with UNFPA Philippines and GAIA Asia Pacific. This will be a platform to address the impacts of COVID-19 on various SDG-related issues in the Philippines as well as share youth solutions to these issues in light of the pandemic Successful webinars with strong viewership and positive reviews from viewers
