This quarter, the network plans to research and prepare for corporate sponsorships, grant applications, and individual donations for the Nutrisyon ni Nanay program.
In partnership with UNFPA Philippines, the network hosted a webinar on International Women's Day. They were able to discuss women-led solutions to women’s issues as posed by the COVID-19 pandemic (child, early and forced marriage; maternal health; teenage pregnancy)
SDSN Youth Philippines is set to host the Youth Solutions Convergence, a platform that aims to gather youth organizations to learn and create projects that advocate for climate change and sustainability. In addition, the network will be given seed grants to the youth organizations with the best solutions to execute as an actual project for their communities.
SDSN Youth Philippines conducted several the 4-weeks leaders and the SDSN Youth Philippines Staff about transformational leadership in the time of the pandemic.
The network plans to launch the S.T.A.RS in Government Program, a 4-week training seminar that aims to systematize governments on project implementation in a more modern structure. By combining the ASOS framework with online platforms, will enable projects to be more centralized and methodical.
In partnership with the Philippine Commission on Population and Development, the network launched formative research to improve access of adolescents to sexual and reproductive health information and services. The goals of the research were to create a repository of existing youth-friendly SRH service providers nationwide and to set a foundation in the development of a technologically sound intervention to facilitate the delivery of these services.
