Validating Nigeria's Sustainability Pathway
In April, the Nigeria network held a national validation workshop in Abuja, bringing together numerous stakeholders to finalize and approve Nigeria's strategic roadmap for sustainable development.
Youth Leading Climate Action in Nigeria
In June, the Nigeria network organized the Conference of Youth on Environment and Climate Change in Lagos, gathering over 1,000 young leaders to discuss urgent climate issues and mobilize youth-driven solutions.
Empowering Leaders for the Future in Benin
In April, the Benin network hosted a series of webinars focused on leadership training, empowering young participants with essential skills for impactful community leadership and sustainable development.
Building Project Management Skills in Benin
From April to June, the Benin network delivered webinars on team management and project development. Participants gained practical skills essential for driving sustainable projects and building strategic partnerships.
Strengthening Local Membership in Bolivia
In June, the Bolivia network celebrated securing their first official local member organization, marking a significant step toward enhancing local youth engagement in sustainability initiatives.
Legislative Action for Climate Change in Korea
In June, the Korea network co-hosted a forum at the National Assembly Members' Office Building, discussing critical amendments to the Youth Basic Act aimed at bolstering youth roles in climate governance.
Environmental Action Made Easy in Hong Kong
In April, the Hong Kong network partnered with the Environment and Conservation Fund for the "Easy Climate Action" event, encouraging students to engage proactively in climate-friendly practices and responsible consumption.
Educating Youth on the SDGs in Indonesia
In April and June, the Indonesia network organized educational events at local orphanages, fostering awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals among young people through interactive learning activities.
Marathon for Sustainability in Kazakhstan
In April, the Kazakhstan network organized the SDG Week Marathon at Nazarbayev University, engaging youth through various sustainability-themed interactive sessions and fostering awareness on responsible consumption and production.
Launch of SDSN Youth Philippines
SDSN Philippines and SDSN Youth launched SDSN Youth Philippines, appointing Rafaella Villena as the first Network Coordinator to drive youth engagement and SDG action nationwide.
Assessing Sustainability at NKUA in Greece
In June, the Greece network collaborated on the NKUA Sustainability report, evaluating proposed initiatives for effectiveness, helping shape informed strategies for achieving multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
