SDSN Philippines and SDSN Youth Appoint a New Youth Coordinator

SDSN Philippines and SDSN Youth Appoint a New Youth Coordinator

The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Philippines -hosted by De La Salle University-, and SDSN Youth have announced the appointment of a new youth Network Coordinator for SDSN Youth Philippines, Rafaella Villena. This collaboration is a statement of the efforts of both programs to advance shared goals through innovation, mutual support, and a commitment to lasting impact.

With more than 20 youth networks across more than 45 different countries, the national and regional networks serve as platforms to engage the local youth, organizations, and institutions in SDG action at the country level. In line with that, and following SDSN Youth’s mission of empowering and mobilizing youth worldwide so they actively participate in shaping a sustainable future, grounded in legitimacy, the SDSN Youth Philippines network will aim to localize these efforts to drive action and create impact in the Philippines.

Rafaella, a graduate in Community Development from the University of the Philippines Diliman, brings valuable experience in community organizing and working in partnership with various communities, grassroots organizations, and NGOs. As she commences her tenure as the Network Coordinator, she carries a strong vision for collaboration, a deep commitment to the network's mission, and a strategic approach to strengthening partnerships and amplifying impact.

At SDSN Youth, we look forward to seeing what she will accomplish as part of this new journey. We also reaffirm our commitment to supporting this youth network as the official branch for youth engagement on the sustainable development of SDSN Youth in the Philippines.
