He is the Founder of Brain House, Kenya, a behavior change strategy consulting firm serving these teams: marketing, communications, software product development, and human capital. He has a rich for-profit background having served in law, marketing, campaign management, business development, and strategy consulting. In 2018, Sam was part of the leadership of the Huduma Halisi National Honest Public Service Campaign which was driven by Kenya's Ministry of Public Service in partnership with UN Economic Commission for Africa. In 2017, he was one of the youngest political candidates in Kenya's general election when he vied to be a Member of the County Assembly of Nairobi. He believes that young people have to assert themselves, in calculated ways, to make meaningful impact in the world; this is the mindset he has carried into his role at SDSN-Y.
