Hi, I’m Caro (25) from Germany, currently working as a trainee for the EU Commission in Brussels. I am passionate about sustainability and looking at both sides of the coin. As an intern, I got to work for UNESCAP in the Environment & Development Division as well as for Philip Morris International (yes, Big Tobacco :)) in the Corporate Social Responsibility section. For me, diversifying my experiences has been very rewarding. Having worked in a homeless shelter in Ireland right after high school, has had a profound impact on my outlook on social justice. By having done my master’s in Japan I learned a lot about Eastern philosophy and collectivism. My hobbies range from creating art to kickboxing. At the moment, I am improving my French and learning more about Greek mythodology.
